Star Wars Episode IX is a 2019 Lucasfilm is on the light side of the Force. The producer has saved 'Star Wars Theory', a Youtube channel of 'Star Wars' fans, from the legal actions that Disney and Warner Chappell were taking against him for a fan film about Darth Vader. The film explored Anakin Skywalker's transformation between 'Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith' and 'Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope' and had obtained permission from Lucasfilm to be published. Toos, the owner of 'Star Wars Theory', had agreed with Lucasfilms that he could publish his story as long as he did not monetize the video and did not finance the project through crowdfunding. The film reached 7 million views in just a few weeks, but has had to face this week a conflict with Disney and Warner Chappell, who claimed rights over the video because the music was too similar to the legendary Imperial March of John Williams. Toos has affirmed that the soundtrack of his film is original and that he hired a composer to create it based on Williams' work.
